A+ rated carrier in search of a Senior Healthcare Underwriter to join their Professional Liability Division in Atlanta. This is a production underwriting role which will contribute to the retention of an existing book of business as well as hit new business goals. This individual will handle a their own book of business across the east coast, working primarily through wholesale brokers. This role will work closely with the national Underwriting Manager on business development strategies within the region as well.

The book of business will focus on Allied Healthcare, Miscellaneous Medical Malpractice, Long Term Care, and Social Services products. Ideal candidates will have existing knowledge of Healthcare products (Allied Healthcare, MedMal, Long Term Care, Social Services etc.).

Requirements

• 2-8+ Years of MedMal/Healthcare Professional Liability Underwriting Experience Required
• Existing Wholesale Broker Contacts Preferred
• BA/BS Required
